About us

The Raoul Wallenberg Schools were founded with Raoul Wallenberg as a role model, to provide children and young people with a solid and comprehensive foundation in knowledge, social skills, and character to face life’s various challenges.

Mission & Vision

"Our vision is that every child and student in our schools will develop their full potential."

Our preschools and primary schools aim to provide every child and student with the opportunity to grow and develop in an inspiring and challenging learning environment. We strive to equip our children and students with the knowledge, skills, and character traits they need to become independent, engaged, and responsible citizens who contribute to the positive development of a sustainable local and global society.

Our mission is to make a positive difference for every individual child and student in our schools, and we take pride in doing so in the spirit of Raoul Wallenberg – with honesty, compassion, courage, and drive. We see and understand each child and student, providing them with the right conditions to reach their full potential. Together with guardians, we create a safe, inclusive, and challenging learning environment that inspires lifelong learning.

Quality management

Raoul Wallenberg Schools focus on delivering high-quality education for children and students from preschool to grade 9. We are guided by our vision of helping every student reach their full potential and by our mission to make a positive difference for each individual child and student in our schools.

Education during the early years of childhood and adolescence is a foundation for lifelong learning. We firmly believe in integrating the development of knowledge, social skills, and character in teaching. To ensure optimal development in these areas, it is crucial that education takes place in a calm, safe school environment with ample opportunities for movement and sports activities. This promotes good mental and physical health, contributing to high attendance in school.

It is essential that education is conducted in a thoughtful, methodical, and consistent manner throughout the entire schooling journey, from early childhood to grade 9. At RWS, we ensure this continuity through the “red thread” that runs through each child’s and student’s climb toward excellence and their full potential. We closely monitor their development year by year in a variety of ways to ensure positive progress for every child.

Our primary focus is on core subjects, including Swedish and English language skills, as well as mathematics. We ensure that both girls and boys develop well, and the assessment of their progress is carried out accurately and fairly.

Our ambition is for the school as an institution to positively influence the community where it operates through comprehensive and high-quality education.

We have identified several concrete areas within environmental, social, and economic dimensions where we contribute to a sustainable society. These include energy consumption, water usage, transportation, waste management, work environment, diversity, human rights, innovation, and economic stability.

Raoul’s Kitchen

Raoul’s Kitchen is the name of our school dining halls, or restaurants as we prefer to call them. Our ambition is to teach our students proper table manners and how to behave in a restaurant setting with others from an early age. By offering our children and students high-quality lunches and snacks every day, we help them learn to eat well and develop healthy and nutritious eating habits early in life.

Good food is prepared from scratch using fresh and high-quality ingredients, with an emphasis on more greens and fiber and less salt. Additionally, the right type and amount of fat is used. Lunch is designed to provide at least 35% of the recommended daily nutritional intake for children and young people in school.
