Raoul Wallenberg School has taken a significant step in its digital development with the launch of a new website and an updated visual identity.
Safety, character development, and a calm working environment will form the foundation for us at RWF Ursvik. By providing a secure environment for children, we create the conditions needed to focus on character development and the acquisition of solid knowledge. These will be important cornerstones for both children and adults.
Through building strong relationships with both children and parents, our educators serve as role models, demonstrating engagement and respectful interactions. We place great emphasis on developing children’s social interaction skills and fostering positive behavior toward one another. With clear routines and structures in place, we contribute to a calm and predictable environment for everyone.
We aim to challenge and encourage children to develop persistence and take new steps in their personal growth. All of this is intended to build both self-awareness and self-confidence in the children.
With this secure foundation, we further enhance the children’s knowledge development, equipping them with solid skills and providing the best possible conditions for each individual as they prepare for primary school.
Through dedicated, skilled, and respectful educators, we will strive to help every child reach their full potential. With clear structures, routines, and an abundance of joy for both children and educators, we aim to fill the children’s backpacks with knowledge and experiences, building their future together.
In our brand-new and modern facilities in the growing and scenic area of Ursvik, your child will have the best possible conditions for learning and development. From our thoughtfully designed indoor environment to our lovely courtyard and accompanying rooftop terrace, every detail is tailored to support your child’s growth.
The preschool will operate with a maximum of four departments, accommodating approximately 80 children, ensuring a focused and nurturing environment.
The scenic area of Ursvik offers excellent opportunities for our outdoor education, which is a key part of our focus on Health & Movement. Just a short walk away lies Ursviksskogen and the Igelbäcken Nature Reserve, which feature rich wildlife and beautiful natural surroundings. These locations provide an inspiring environment for exploration, learning, and physical activity.
Our outdoor environment is located in our courtyard and divided into two sections, with the far section featuring a rooftop terrace. This provides a unique setting for structured activities and teaching throughout the year.
For example, we have planting boxes positioned in optimal sunlight, allowing us to easily and effectively follow the processes of “from seed to plant” from early spring to late autumn. This hands-on learning experience enhances children’s understanding of nature and sustainability.
The indoor environment offers exceptionally well-planned spaces with beautiful colors, ample natural light, and sound-absorbing wall panels, creating the perfect conditions for a calm yet stimulating learning environment. It is a privilege for us to create an inspiring and aesthetically pleasing setting together with your children, shaped by their interests and needs.
