In-depth learning

At RWS Bromma, students are given the opportunity to explore their creative talents through a range of in-depth programs that emphasize aesthetic learning processes, fostering lifelong learning. Through specializations such as Media & Communication, Music & Sound, Stage & Set Design, Theater & Drama, Art & Design, and Dance & Movement, students can develop their interests and skills in both theoretical and practical contexts.

Our creative specializations inspire joy, engagement, and learning, enabling students to deepen their passions while cultivating valuable knowledge and abilities for the future.

Grades F-3

At RWS Bromma, creativity and artistic expression are integral to the learning experience for students in grades F-3. Students are introduced to various forms of artistic expression, work with diverse materials, and participate in exciting field trips to explore Stockholm’s rich cultural life.

As students transition to middle school at RWS Bromma, they engage in creative specializations across a variety of fields. By the time they reach high school, they select a specialization each term. These creative explorations are designed to inspire joy, engagement, and curiosity, while also nurturing talents and enhancing learning.

Students in grades F-3 have the opportunity to experience and appreciate the work of older students during the school’s winter and spring exhibitions, fostering inspiration and a sense of community across age groups.

Grades 4-6

At RWS Bromma, students in grades 4-6 have the opportunity to explore various creative fields, including Media, Programming & Coding, Construction & Design, Art & Creation, and Dance & Movement. These specializations aim to inspire joy, engagement, and curiosity, develop students’ talents, and enhance their learning experience.

Throughout the school year, students participate in all specializations, working in each area for approximately two months. The program combines theoretical and practical work, enriched by relevant field trips and exposure to Stockholm’s vibrant cultural life. The work within these specializations culminates in winter and spring exhibitions, where students, family members, and other guests are invited to celebrate and appreciate the students’ creations.

More about the school

An atmosphere of calm and focus permeates the lessons and extends to breaks and the school restaurant, Raoul’s Kitchen. One reason for this calm and focus is our application of the RWS model for structure, order, and discipline before and during lessons. This atmosphere is further supported by ongoing values-based work grounded in our guiding principles.
